We are looking for a full-time Business Consultant to join our RELEX team in Milan or Venice.
The role:
As a Business Consultant at RELEX, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse business contexts and industries, helping customers optimise their business and supply chain processes. You’ll play a key role in advising and guiding customers, delivering real, measurable value.
By conducting supply chain analyses to understand customer needs and collaborating closely with other RELEX team members you will contribute to delivering customised solutions.
You can deepen your expertise in supply chain optimisation, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support and lead different aspects of retail and supply chain planning development projects in the fields of demand forecasting, replenishment and inventory management, analytics, and retail process development
- Gather business requirements from clients, building configurations, and training end-users.
- Collaborating with customers in meeting their business goals
- Work with clients on a consultancy basis to understand and optimize their business processes and identify areas of opportunity to increase sales, reduce inventory costs and maximize the efficiency of in-store operations through optimized product assortments and inventory management
- Perform business analysis and problem-solving activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in consulting, supply chain management, demand forecasting, replenishmentinventory management, business analytics or another relevant area in retail / consulting industry
- Experience in software implementation and ability to gather requirements, carry out process design, training and user testing support, as consultant or as a customer.
- Excellent academic record in Industrial Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Information Management or other relevant subject expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Availability to travel
What we consider as an advantage:
- Experience in working with a Grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier
- Experience in Demand Forecasting, Replenishment and allocation
- Team and project working attitude
- Capability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders from end users to C-level
- Entrepreneurial attitude with an interest towards growing the business
- Outstanding work ethic and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or French
