We are looking for a full-time Business Consultant to join our Value Development team team in Oslo, Stockholm, or Copenhagen
As a Business Consultant at RELEX, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse business contexts and industries, helping customers optimize their business, supply chain and/or commercial processes. You’ll join the Scandinavian operations team of 50+ people, who will help you succeed in your new role. You will design, configure, and deliver RELEX products to best fit customers’ needs and you will have the option to deepen your expertise in various areas, and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers.
This is a heavily customer-facing role focusing on driving business value for our Scandinavian customers. The initial focus will on Forecast & Replenishment but with high likelihood on expanding into other product areas such as Space & Assortment and Promotion planning. The key activities to be expected as part of this role are:
Value Development Work:
- Conduct KPI and data analysis to uncover strengths and deficiencies in customer processes.
- Gather business requirements from customers and implement RELEX software to fit the needs of the customer
- Design and build the customer solution
- Design business processes around the solution
- Build and test configurations to support customer workflows and support the customer through User Acceptance Testing
- Train the customer and ensure system adoption to become proficient and self-sustaining in their customized software solution
- Continuously building knowledge in RELEX different solutions and our customers industries and challenges
- For selected customers you will also be expected to have a Value Development Lead role, meaning:
- Being the customers trusted advisor and main point of contact for value development
- Owning the development workstream, planning activities and ensuring progress in value development
- Having close collaboration with other customer operating functions as part of the customer team; Customer Success management and Service Delivery Management.
- Drive and support the customer in functional and operational roll out
You’ll play a key role in advising and guiding customers, delivering real, measurable value.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Interest in software implementation and ability to gather requirements, carry out process design, training and user testing support, as consultant or as a customer.
- Excellent academic record in Industrial Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Information Management or other relevant subject expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Preferably work experience in consulting, supply chain management, promotion planning, space planning, business analytics or another relevant area in retail / consulting industry
- Motivation to engage with customers on a longer term, becoming an expert in the customer’s business and implementations
- A responsive mindset with a drive to build relations and help customers achieving targets
- Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language
