In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Consultant to join our RELEX family in Lille, France.
The Role:
As a Business Consultant you will work in various customer projects. This includes conducting supply chain related analysis from presales phase to supporting implementation projects of RELEX solution for the customer, e.g. by functional configuration of the environment. You may develop towards a deeper expertise in supply chain optimization to become a trusted advisor for our customers.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support and lead different aspects of retail and supply chain planning development projects in the fields of demand forecasting, inventory management, analytics, and retail process development;
- Gather business requirements from clients, building configurations, and training end-users;
- Collaborating with customers in meeting their business goals;
- Work with clients on a consultancy basis to understand and optimize their business processes and identify areas of opportunity to increase sales, reduce costs and maximize the efficiency of in-store operations through optimized product assortments and inventory management;
- Perform business analysis and problem-solving activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 2 to 5 years of work experience in consulting, supply chain development, category management, merchandising, software implementation or other relevant area in retail / consulting industry;
- Relevant academic background (e.g. Industrial Management, Information Networks, Business Technology, Logistics, Economics and Business Administration);
- Capability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders from end users to C-level;
- Outstanding work ethic and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to understand SCM and other retail planning systems from business and IT perspectives;
- Fluent communication skills in French and English.
