You will join our IT Project and Demand office Team which forms a part of the Business and Information Technology department. This team focuses on driving the delivery of successful IT projects and managing varied business demands / initiatives working in close collaborations with HR, Sales, Marketing, Infosec, Customer Operations and other corporate functions.
We are looking for an experienced Junior IT Project Manager to join our team in Helsinki, taking the lead on IT projects including demand management, system migrations, application integrations, and enterprise-wide technology upgrades.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans and timelines for IT projects, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and achievable.
- Support in setting project goals, milestones, and performance metrics to track progress effectively.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and align project requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for system integrations, project deliverables, and issue resolution during various project phases.
- Help identify risks, assess their potential impact, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Participate in overseeing the change management process, including communication and user training strategies, in collaboration with the communication team.
- Contribute to post-implementation evaluations to assess milestone achievements and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, such as plans, risk logs, and communication records.
- Prepare regular updates, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholder groups to highlight project progress, successes, and areas needing attention.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business demands and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
What we’re looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in IT project management, ideally including exposure to enterprise system migration projects.
- Basic skills in managing timelines, budgets, and resources, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies, along with familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
- Exposure to IT infrastructure and system migration concepts, such as ITSM (incident and change management), migration planning, or EntraID.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Eagerness to take ownership of projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and develop as a professional in project management.
- A proactive attitude and a keen interest in growing into a skilled Project Manager.
