Request for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI – known collectively as an RFx) is a critical component of every sales case at RELEX. These are documents in which prospective customers ask us anything and everything about our solutions’ features and functions, allowing them to decide on their short-list of possible vendors.
A Presales Analytics RFx Project Coordinator is mission-control for each RFx. Their job is to organize the response team, which often spans multiple business areas, and ensure everyone is on-track for a successful delivery. Their responsibilities include:
- RFx Management: Manage the entire RFx response process, from initial receipt to final submission, acting as the primary point of contact for all RFP-related activities. Ensure timelines are met and requirements are fully addressed.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with subject matter experts across departments such as Product, Engineering, Legal, and Sustainability to address complex questions and showcase RELEX’s strengths in each response.
- Content Review & Quality Assurance: Review and refine RFP responses provided by SMEs to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Ensure all answers are well-structured, aligned with RELEX standards, and meet client expectations.
- Sales & Presales Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales and presales teams to understand client requirements and tailor responses accordingly.
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of RELEX’s product suite, technical capabilities, and industry-specific solutions. Stay updated on changes in our services and product features to ensure accurate and relevant responses.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline the RFP process, enhance coordination among teams, and improve the quality and efficiency of our responses.
- Expert Network Development: Build and maintain a network of RELEX experts to ensure the right people are engaged promptly as needed.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience or demonstrable knowledge of SaaS and B2B sales
- A general understanding of cloud architecture and information security principles in relation to SaaS businesses.
- A flair for sales messaging and can write engagingly and succinctly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- You love working with people and collaborating across business functions, countries, and markets
- Process-oriented and enjoys bringing order to chaos, with enough adaptability to respond swiftly and efficiently to fast-moving opportunities
- Enjoy taking ownership of your work and thrive in a dynamic environment
Advantages in your application:
- Previous experience writing, answering, or reviewing RFx’s
- Previous demonstrable project management experience
- Proficiency in additional languages (particularly Spanish, French, or German)
