Join us as a Senior Cloud Engineer in Helsinki or Lisbon. You will be part of our centralized Public Cloud Platform team. In this role, you will take part of the development and maintenance of our self-service driven Azure landing zones, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Azure, infrastructure management as code, and best practices to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient landing zones and cloud management platform.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to the design, implementation and management of self-service driven Azure landing zones and access management policies, ensuring that the solution is scalable, secure, cost effective, and meets our stakeholders needs.
- Stay updated on emerging Azure technologies and best practices, and incorporate them into our landing zone strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and maintain thorough documentation of processes and procedures.
- Proactively identify and solve technical challenges, ensuring smooth operation of Azure solutions and making sure the solution follows the best practices and high security standards.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience as Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and managing Azure landing zones in enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code automation and other scripting skills (e.g. Python).
- Familiarity with access management principles, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework, and enterprise-scale landing zone architectures.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment, and the related tools and processes.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills in an agile development environment.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-organized approach to work.
- Fluent English communication skills.
What we consider as an advantage:
- Azure Solution Architect and similar certifications.
- Experience with Terraform Cloud.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AKS platform.
