In times of rapidly changing, fragmented consumer demand, new sales and fulfilment channels, and supply chain disruption, RELEX’s AI-driven, cloud-based platform helps CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brands and retailers move fast and find new ways to meet consumer needs while improving operational efficiency and controlling costs.
In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team in Lille or Paris, France.
The role:
In this role, you will work on the technical aspects of implementation projects, system integrations, and troubleshooting complex challenges. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure high-quality technical deliverables, following best practices and contributing to successful project outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a technical expert in implementation projects and continuous service, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Manage your own technical workstreams while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend and lead technical specification workshops, ensuring all technical tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
- Design and build integrations between our solutions and customer backend systems, working with large data sets.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical and performance issues for customers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation processes and technical best practices.
- Align with your Team Lead regarding project progress, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and consultative approach.
- Experience working with programming, database, and query languages (e.g., SQL, REST API, Shell, Java, Ruby).
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Git, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in French and English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team to achieve project goals.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
What We Consider an Advantage:
- Experience in retail, supply chain management, or enterprise software implementations.
- Additional language skills such as Italian, Spanish, or Arabic.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamental Certification and knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Previous experience in a client-facing technical role, managing system integrations or data transformations.
