Bouygues Telecom, French all-round operator of digital communications and services, part of the Bouygues Group, has selected RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions, to replace their existing legacy APS provider. The RELEX AI-driven forecasting & replenishment capabilities will optimize their end-to-end supply chain efficiency across all stores in France.

Bouygues Telecom is on a mission to bring people closer together by providing high-quality internet connections, through the roll-out of its fixed and mobile networks in France.
They wanted to bring in AI-driven capabilities to achieve more precise demand predictions, to optimize inventory levels and increase availability across their multiple distribution channels. Additionally, their major need was flexibility and accuracy in reporting capabilities.
Bouygues Telecom faces unique challenges as a telecom provider, such as managing a wide range of inventory that includes fast-moving tech products, mobile phones, internet boxes, accessories, and refurbished items. They must also coordinate inventory across multiple sales channels, including online stores and physical retail locations. Additionally, they need to keep up with rapid technological changes and frequent product launches, which require an agile and responsive supply chain. With RELEX, Bouygues Telecom will be able to more accurately predict demand and reduce stockouts. Also, RELEXs extensive configuration capabilities enable easy adaptation of business processes to the changing conditions while enabling innovation. This will lead to improved efficiency, reduced costs, and better service levels.
