Dohome to Optimize Their Supply Chain Operations with RELEX
Mar 3, 2025 • 3 minThailand’s leading retailer and wholesaler has implemented RELEX’s forecasting, replenishment, and promotional forecasting capabilities to support its growth ambitions
Dohome, a leading retailer and wholesaler in Thailand, has chosen RELEX Solutions, a provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions, to optimize its supply chain operations. The implementation of the RELEX AI-driven forecasting and replenishment solution, along with promotional forecasting, will enhance operations across Dohome’s distribution center and stores. The project will be delivered in collaboration with Logic, part of Accenture, and a RELEX partner.

Founded in 1983, Dohome is a retail and wholesale business providing products and services related to construction materials and home decoration, operating under the concept “Complete, Cheap and Good at DOHOME”. With 24 large branches, 15 Dohome ToGo branches, and 1 distribution center across Thailand, Dohome has a clear vision to expand into urbanizing provinces, offering everyone the opportunity to build and furnish a home.
Dohome sought a supply chain solution that would allow them to streamline and automate their supply chain in the rapidly growing Thai market. Their supply chain was previously managed with a combination of spreadsheets and a legacy solution which did not serve their goals of managing their inventory with agility. Dohome primarily wanted to add speed to their operations. They first became acquainted with RELEX at an event held by Finland’s ambassador to Thailand.
“We always want to have the best product selection possible available to our customers, tailored to their needs, no matter the location,” said Saliltip Ruangsuttipap, Director, Executive Director Member, and Deputy Managing Director – Accounting, Finance, and Organization Support, Dohome. “With RELEX, we aim to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and improve product availability across all our stores.”
The RELEX forecasting and replenishment solution provides retailers and wholesalers with a strong foundation to optimize their demand planning and supply chain operations, powered by a machine learning (ML)-based forecasting engine. Dohome will be able to manage both their slow and fast-moving inventory efficiently with RELEX configurable forecast engine that covers products with different demand profiles for short and long time-horizons, open for external inputs. The replenishment capability automates and optimizes the replenishment process for stores and DCs by creating accurate order proposals, leading to increased availability and reduced inventory costs – supporting Dohome’s goal of reducing the amount of funds tied up in slow-moving inventory.
RELEX will deliver the work in collaboration with Logic, part of Accenture. Logic specializes in helping retailers transform their organizations with technology. “Together with RELEX, we are helping Dohome reinvent its supply chain to improve speed to market, scale their operations, and become more agile and relevant.” said Sam Caltabiano, RELEX solutions leader for APAC at Logic, part of Accenture. “This collaboration builds a solid foundation to drive profitability and operational efficiency.”
Dohome complements the RELEX forecasting and replenishment solution with promotional forecasting. This capability ensures that their promotions and inventory are aligned and that items on promotion are available at the right place at the right time, leading to increased sales and consumer satisfaction through improved availability.
“This is an exciting project as we bring together our global experience in retailing and manufacturing, and nuanced understanding of the Thai market with our partner,” Stefano Scandelli, General Manager, Manufacturing at RELEX. “This collaboration will enable Dohome to meet customer demands more effectively and support their growth ambitions in a very competitive market.”
