REMA 1000 to Improve its Demand Forecasting and Replenishment with RELEX Solutions

RELEX will service REMA 1000’s 420 stores throughout Denmark, driving their efforts to increase availability and freshness while reducing waste

REMA 1000 Denmark, a leading Danish grocery retailer and wholesaler, has selected RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions, to improve the accuracy and efficiency of their demand forecasting and replenishment processes. RELEX will service REMA 1000’s 420 stores throughout Denmark, driving their efforts to increase availability and freshness while reducing waste. Aldi stores that were acquired by REMA 1000 last year are also part of the scope. 

In addition to the 420 stores, REMA 1000 will implement RELEX solution across their four distribution centers to ensure availability of the freshest possible products and increase efficiency of orders to all their clients. The system will allow them to optimize inventory, as well as reduce waste and other associated costs. 

REMA 1000 aims to allocate time to more value-adding tasks across the business, emphasizing the empowerment of category managers and, most importantly, store personnel. REMA 1000 will also benefit from RELEX’s technology that leverages AI algorithms to calculate and manage end balances. This reinforces the commitment to optimize inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and agility in maintaining optimal stock levels.
